What Is Whale Score?

A whale score is a numerical rating (typically 0-100) assigned to a wallet based on its transaction history, holdings size, trading frequency, and market influence. Higher whale scores indicate wallets with greater potential to move markets. Sonar Tracker calculates whale scores by analyzing factors including total transaction volume, number of large trades, portfolio diversity, historical accuracy of timing, and interactions with known institutional addresses. Traders use whale scores to prioritize which wallet movements to pay attention to — a transaction from a 95-score wallet is more significant than from a 30-score wallet.
