What Is Mempool?

The mempool (memory pool) is a waiting area for unconfirmed blockchain transactions. When you send a crypto transaction, it first enters the mempool before being included in a block by miners or validators. Monitoring the mempool reveals pending whale transactions before they are confirmed, giving traders an early signal. Large transactions waiting in the mempool can indicate imminent price movements once they are processed.
